Catching is really scarce this year. If you don’t already have a catcher, Arencibia, is better than anything available in the draft. In the draft Saltalamacchia (.737) and Pierzynski (.728) have slightly better OPSes than Arencibia (.720). But Arencibia has 100 more plate appearances than Salty and is only 25 to Pierzynski’s 34.
Looking for 1b, 3b, RF and/or draft picks.

Cincinnati looking to pick up some draft picks. I’ve got some players that could help teams looking for a run for the title.
If you need a solid SS or 3B, I’ve got Miguel Tejada. If you need outfielders, Carlos Lee and Vlad Guerrero are on the block. Could possibly deal Julio Borbon as well. If you need a 1B that absolutely punishes RHP, David Ortiz is .297 BA, .416 OB, .643 Slug with plenty of AB’s. Plug him in your cleanup spot.
If you need a starting pitcher, Ted Lilly. plenty of innings left. Only 7.7 hits per 9 and 9.9 runners. If you need relievers, I’ve got a bunch…..but if you need a closer, check out John Axford.
While I’m open to some young semi-proven players, my preference is for draft picks. Looking to make these deals ASAP…..so I can better plan who to protect.

I have more signable players than I can keep and so I’m looking to move a couple of players for immediate value. Most available is Alexei Ogando who is off to an excellent start as a starting pitcher this year. I need to replace his innings this year and get something shiny (like a late first round pick) to make it worth my trouble.
Also available are Josh Beckett and James Shields. They are bit players for me this year but look very good for next. I will package them together for an impact player coming the other way for those teams that don’t have 12 worthy candidates for signing.
