Bellingham at Scottsdale Both game 2 pitchers performed poorly, and the game was tied at 7 after just 4 innings. Rod Barajas homered to lead off the 6th, giving Bellingham an 8-7 lead. After that, pitching took over. From that time on, there were only a couple of scratch singles. Scottsdale had a good chance to tie in the 7th, as Bruney's walks and wild pitches set up Atkins with runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out. But Atkins popped up and Broxton got Hatteberg. Ryan got the save this time, getting Joe Mauer to hit into a DP to end the game.

Mauer singled off McBride in the 7th to drive in a 4th run, and after an intentional walk to Atkins, it went single, triple, double, single, setting up a Conference Championship Scottsdale-Seoul rematch.

Juan Encarnacion had the gaudy 9-19 performance, homering in three straight games, but even then he didn't start game 7.
